Maintenance Officer (Lebanese Nationals Only)

1. Background

ACTED is an International Non-Governmental Organization registered in France with global operations in Central and South Asia, Europe, Middle-East and Africa. ACTED has been active in Lebanon since 2006 operating mainly in the North and Beirut and Mount Lebanon governorates of Lebanon.

Live Love Lebanon is a national non-profit, non-governmental organisation, seeking to impact meaningful social and environmental change in Lebanon.

2. Functions

• Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor
• Daily check on all the assets at the workplace;
• Support in task allocation and follow up to beneficiaries based on warehouse
• Complete a BoQ on weekly basis for items needed;
• Adhere to safety and security standards;
• Ensure the assets are ready to be used including charging and cleaning it;
• Continuous follow up with the operations supervisor on the required daily tasks.

3. Accountability to Communities and Beneficiaries

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all relations with the communities we work are conducted in a respectful and consultative manner.  Due attention must be paid to ensuring that communities are adequately consulted and informed about the program objectives, activities, beneficiary selection criteria, and methodologies.  This is the responsibility of every staff member.
