Vocational Coordinator

 

  • Coordinate with field officers to prepare activities implementation, including preparing calendar of activities and logistical organization for trainings in liaison with schools’ directors, teachers and contractors;
  • Conduct regularly scheduled staff meetings to discuss and resolve staff and program issues and concerns
  • Liaise with the partner for the successful implementation of the joint vocational activities;
  • Cooperate closely with Ministry of Agriculture coordinator for planning and coordination of activities and trainings;
  • Supervise, in coordination with field officers, all vocational activities and liaise with communities and schools;
  • Develop comprehensive evaluation and monitoring tools to measure the impact of Vocational training sessions on students’ development and linkage with the world of work, in collaboration with the M&E department;
  • Provide reports along the year to the Project coordinator/M&E department including quantitative data and full descriptive narrative as per the project annual work plan;
  • Insure the success of the organized vocational training courses respecting logistical, administrative and communication processes aligned with donor’s rules and requirements;
  • Represent AVSI in the regional meetings upon request
  • Perform any other relevant duties as required.
