AMIDEAST/Lebanon is recruiting an IT Trainer for the Citi Skills for Success® Program in Basateen, Aley. The program provides scholarship opportunities for underpriviledged unemployed young men and women to help them find a job or start their own business.
In the first phase of the program, the participants will grow critical personal and professional skills relevant to most careers, which include 40 hours of IT and computer skills.
The tentative training course schedule is from September 18 till October 3. The sessions will be delivered from Monday through Thursday from 4 till 8 pm.
The IT Trainer’s main responsibilities include:
Deliver 40 hours of IT and Computer skills training for the Citi Skills for Success Aley cohort to help participants become better equipped to use technology in the professional world.
Training topics include:
- Usage of IT and Computer skills in the workplace
- Introduction about IT and technology
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Social media and digital marketing
- Google family
- Cloud and remote work
- Monitor student progress and motivation and report to the Program Manager using the Skills for Success rubrics.
- Provide any other administrative support when and if the need arises.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, Master’s degree preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in delivering IT trainings and workshops
- Willingness to travel to Basateen in Aley to deliver the IT training
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer applications
- Lebanese citizenship
