Driver (on Behalf of Al Midan Organisation)

About the job

The Driver will be responsible for the safe, smooth and efficient transportation of Al Midan staff and goods mainly within T5 area.

Your main duties and responsibilities will be:

• Understands and follows all traffic rules and regulations according to Al Midan vehicle policy and Lebanese law.
• The assigned driver is responsible to maintain vehicle in a usable condition and maintain logbooks, refueling, oil, maintenance and cleaning etc.
• Transports people and ensures that all the passengers are using seatbelts and abiding to Al Midan Lebanon vehicle policy.
• Transports material (making sure that the material & vehicle are not being damaged while stacking).
• Applying standard procedures in case of accident with a written report to the supervisor.
• Flexibility with time (working up to 48 hours per week)

About you

• To be successful in this role we expect you to have High School level of Education.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferably to have previous experience working with NGOs.
• Driving license
• Public driving license.

We offer

• Contract length: till 30th of June 2019
• Monthly Basic Salary: 600 USD
• Duty Station: Zgharta
• Start date: September 2018 (upon the signature of UNICEF amendment)
