Arts Education Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Arts Education

  • Hire teachers and provide appropriate training.
  • Supervise the work of the teachers and arts education staff and submit twice yearly a performance evaluation report to the president.
  • Lead the continuous development of the arts education program.
  • Develop and implement appropriate assessment tools for student performance.
  • Present a projected arts education budget to the Board in March.
  • Follow up on the art scene in Lebanon to find appropriate venues for field visits (concerts, plays, exhibitions etc.).
  • Establish links with visual and performing artists in Lebanon.
  • Strive to make Ayadina’s center, a hub of artistic endeavors.

 

Facilities Management

  • Coordinate with the Office Manager about the proper maintenance routines for a safe and optimal learning environment.

 

Outreach

  • Cooperate with the Funds and M&E Officer to develop Arts Education’s fundraising procedures.
  • Liaise with the President and the Board of Directors for fundraising and marketing initiatives.
  • Facilitates and organizes events (online and offline) using a variety of tools and tactics to support the arts education programs goals.
  • Oversee the content on the association’s website as well as on the social media platforms.

• At least 3 years of experience in the field of arts education
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English and Arabic, French is a plus.
