Education Program Manager

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To lead program implementation and ensure the right and timely achievement of its objectives, including daily communication, planning, documentation, reporting, monitoring and evaluation.
  2. To manage the relation with the partners in the Public and Private educational sectors, in Lebanon and abroad.
  3. To contribute to the recruitment of and manage the relation with the experts or other personnel working for the program, and ensure the right progress and quality of the work and its deliverables.
  4. To manage the implementation of the program’s activities according to the program’s objectives (teachers training; digital resources development; school, universities and CSO activities; public events, etc.).
  5. To design, plan and manage the exhibitions and public events of the project.
  6. To collaborate with the Media department for the productions related to the program.
  7. To manage the relation with Academic institutions for collaboration and partnership building.
  8. To design and implement, with experts’ support, the Monitoring and Evaluation plan of the program.
  9. To manage the budget of the program, in collaboration with the financial department.
  10. To manage the relation with the donors.
  11. To contribute to the design of the next 2 or 3 year phase of the program, and other similar projects.
  12. To contribute to the strategic planning of Educational projects within the Institute.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Master in Education Management or related field.
  2. 5 year experience in the Education sector, with at least 2 years in direct project/program management.
  3. Proficient command of English and Arabic languages; French is a plus.   
  4. Proven knowledge and experience in educational programs and training management.  
  5. High capacity in strategic thinking and planning and problem solving.  
  6. Excellent command of Office programs especially outlook, word and excel, and of web search and browsing.      
  7. Good communication and teamwork skills with capacity of relations management in a positive spirit, within an intercultural and international work framework.   
  8. Time management and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  9. Personal belief in and support of Adyan’s mission and values.
