English language course

Purpose and objectives  

Concern Worldwide is a non-governmental international humanitarian organisation, and was founded in 1968. Concern Worldwide currently operates in a number of countries across the globe, with its Head Office in Dublin. We work with the poor and vulnerable in the world’s poorest countries to help them bring about long-lasting change in their lives and realise their fundamental human rights; to food, to health, to education, and ultimately to a life of dignity.

As English language is very essential to build the capacity of the staff, Concern Worldwide is requesting offers on an English language course for a team of 12 people.

Details

• Location: Halba, North Lebanon
• The course will be for a team of 12 people, from different ages, domains, English levels and nationalities.
• The hours of training should be between 8 am and 5 pm on Fridays.
• Offer to include multiple sessions on multiple days.
• Activities and courses to help build the capacity of the staff in both speaking and writing the English language.
• The course should cover the basic vocabulary for both technical and everyday life, pronunciation and grammar.
• Course to cover the basics of presentation skills and boost confidence of presenter.
• Course to be customized to the need of the team and the organization.
• Applicants to be ready to provide a pre-placement test and post-workshop test to measure efficiency.
• Applications to provide a certificate of participation in the end of the course.
