Consultant for the assessment tool adaptation for alternative care pilot project

Objective

To adapt the assessment tool for kinship and foster families, follow-up techniques and standards to the Lebanese context

Requirements:

• The consultant will be requested to review the assessment tools that are used in different contexts and developed by a number of agencies
• To understand the Lebanese legal framework, civil laws and personal status
• To submit the adapted tools content and to coordinate with the legal unit coordinator

Profile requirements

The consultant would need to combine the following expected profiles and experience:

• 7-10 years of relevant professional experience
• Direct experience with developing tools and research
• Knowledge about the alternative care measures with a focus on kinship and foster family in different contexts including Lebanon
• Education background: social work, sociology, psychology or other relevant degrees
• Should be fluent in both Arabic and English
