Arabic Editor Intern

Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Translate to Arabic and Arabic editing.
• Translate to French and French editing.
• Conduct Quantitative and Qualitative Media Analysis.
• Edit news stories for the greenpeacearabic.org website.
• Draft text for email newsletters.
• Help keep our Facebook page and Twitter account updated.
• Report media and social media stories about environmental issues happening in the MENA region.

Requirements:

• Creative writing in Arabic and French.
• Experience in media monitoring and trend or story tracking.
• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
• Basic skills in photography/videography.
• Good background in media.
• Will to learn new skills and to share your skills with others.
• Interest in and awareness of environmental issues.
• Multitasking skills.

Qualifications:

Education:

University Degree in Journalism, Communications, Translation, Audio-Visual, Digital marketing or related field.

Language:

Fluency in oral and written Arabic and French is mandatory, Good English
