Your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Translate to Arabic and Arabic editing.
- Translate to French and French editing.
- Conduct Quantitative and Qualitative Media Analysis.
- Edit news stories for the greenpeacearabic.org website.
- Draft text for email newsletters.
- Help keep our Facebook page and Twitter account updated.
- Report media and social media stories about environmental issues happening in the MENA region.
Requirements:
- Creative writing in Arabic and French.
- Experience in media monitoring and trend or story tracking.
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
- Basic skills in photography/videography.
- Good background in media.
- Will to learn new skills and to share your skills with others.
- Interest in and awareness of environmental issues.
- Multitasking skills.
Qualifications:
Education:
University Degree in Journalism, Communications, Translation, Audio-Visual, Digital marketing or related field.
Language:
Fluency in oral and written Arabic and French is mandatory, Good English

Terms and Conditions:
Greenpeace MENA internships are full-time positions (40 hours/week). Our internships are meant for students or recent graduates who have completed their studies less than 1 year ago. Remuneration is a modest monthly honorarium that covers transport and food allowance. A certificate of Internship will be delivered at the end of the agreed duration.
