TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management
- Provide continuous support to the project cycle and identify need for adjustment and improvement of systems and processes to improve efficiency, optimize utilization of resources and improve quality of deliverables.
- Work with other members of the team, to ensure commitment of adequate resources from approved budgets to support project implementation.
- Support and oversee the overall work plan for the relevant project in coordination with relevant staff and follow up on the day-to-day implementation of project activities.
- Supervise and provide leadership ensuring that project objectives and activities are understood, internalized and carried out by project team.
- Draft weekly project meeting reports and other relevant internal process reports.
- Maintain effective collaboration and relationships with local actors and other partners to fulfil program objectives.
- Ensure project management tools such as logical frameworks, work plans, monitoring and evaluation plans and indicator tracking are properly updated.
- Ensure all staff and service providers’-related tasks are carried out in accordance with ARK’s and the donor’s policies and guidelines.
- Support in drafting internal and contracted periodic reports are completed on time and to a high quality and in accordance with ARK and donor requirements.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with a wide range of civil society actors.
- Contribute to bid development on potential programmes as required by ARK’s management.
- Provide regular reports on all aspects of project implementation and possible obstacles for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the drafting of all major written project deliverables.
- Any other relevant task required by senior management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of first degree, post graduate degree desirable.
A minimum of 3 years professional management experience, preferably in youth and governance programming in Lebanon. - Demonstrated experience in project coordination, project-level monitoring and evaluation, programme budgeting and programme development and design across a range of projects, as well as active management of diverse teams and cultures.
- Proven planning, assessment and analytical skills. Proven excellent report and proposal writing skills, supported by a high level of attention to detail and the ability to compile comprehensive reports for donors.
- Native Arabic language
- Excellent English language written and oral skills.
- High personal adaptability, proactivity, and problem-solving ability
- Tact, social skills, and effective inter-personal communication.
- Commitment to team-building and ability to develop other team members.
