The construction officer will be required to:
Desludging Activities:
- Supervise / monitor the process of desludging
- Partake in the process of identifying desludging needs
- Coordinate with Desludging contractors and respond to beneficiaries’ queries to ensure that Solidarités International standards are respected and that the work is completed on time
WASH Activities:
- Take part in the distribution and/or installation of WASH items
- Identify the needs for minor maintenance, specify the work to be performed, partake in the Contractor selection process and supervise the work to ensure that Solidarités International standards are respected and that the construction works is completed on time
Reporting
- Report your activities to the WASH & Shelter Team Leader;
- Report the construction progress to the management and update the relevant formats and databases for the construction activities;
- Report any type of problem encountered on the field;
The construction Officer may be asked to drive SI cars and respecting the driving policies set by the logistic department and attached to this document.
