ACTED internal reviews
Review internal processes and suggest recommendations for improvement
Lead on internal audit missions, report and follow up on recommendations
Lead on conducting internal investigations in coordination with the country director
Prepare and deliver internal trainings on fraud, whistle blowing and other related topics
ACTED sub granting process
Review of sub granting processes and guidelines, and stay up to date with any changes while ensuring the process transparency and compliance
Keep all managers informed of the process through developing relevant trainings and follow up memos
Follow up with each project manager on their sub granting component, including providing needed guidance, reviewing request for proposals
Draft lessons learned documenting main lessons learned in the sub grating process and share with HQ and other countries for improvement
Review sub granting guidelines based on each project context and liaise with HQ for necessary updates
Partners and sub grantees trainings and due diligence:
Perform due diligence assessments for potential implementing partners, and draft risk mitigation plan for any partner risk related activity
Perform capacity building trainings for partners covering Procurement procedures, HR, Finance and reporting at the kickoff of each project, and support the finance assistant in any partners related issue
Develop and deliver capacity building trainings for sub grantees, covering Procurement, HR, financial procedures and transparency aspects with the support of sub grants officers
Provide guidance to sub grantees to improve their governance, risk management and internal controls.
