Technical Officers

TVET related tasks:

  1. Plan coordinate and implement TVET activities following the methodologies set by the livelihood department respecting the administrative, logistical and communication procedures;
  2. Ensure the implementation of operational work plan, setting clear targets and activity plans per center;
  3. Work closely with school coordinator and curriculum coordinators and follow up on the quality of the theoretical and practical hours given during a course.
  4. Work closely with the TVET teachers to ensure the implementation of the activities as per the methodology set by the education specialist (Lesson plan planned, reports, student’s evaluation…);
  5. Supervise and monitor the quality of implementation of TVET courses insuring that the pedagogical and technical approaches are applied by the teachers;
  6. Make to have enough practical hours implemented during all TVET courses.
  7. Insure follow up of the beneficiaries following the sessions to track youth development.

Internship related tasks:

  • Coordinate with the partners the outreach in intervention regions (BML, North, South & Nabtieh, Bekaa) to develop relationships with private companies available to offer internship positions to students.
  • Manage in coordination with the Private Sector Coordinator the supervise the preparation of Internship agreements with the partners.
  • Coordinate the internship calendar in collaboration with partners, Private sector Coordinator and Project Coordinator.
  • Follow up on students hired for an internship and host companies.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive evaluation and monitoring tools to measure the impact of internship placements on the employability of students.

TVET and internship tasks:

  • Monitor the implementation of the TVET and internship through spot check and draft the reports;
  • Provide comprehensive reports along the year to the Private sector coordinator including quantitative data and full descriptive narrative as per the project annual work plan;
  • Coordinate with the private sector coordinator to finalize the operational work plans, including setting monthly objectives;
  • Collaborate with the M&E department and facilitate data collection and analysis through different the M&E tools (Focus group discussion, surveys, database…)
  • Responsible of maintaining the archiving system up to date (both in hardcopies and electronically).
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the integrated approach of the program;
