Assistant Field Coordinator - (Prospective) South

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information;
  • Enter relevant data using databases provided by the Project Manager;
  • Verify entered data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data; making sure to eliminate duplication of data;
  • Assist in volunteer timesheets validation and entry;
  • Assist in monitoring school initiatives, volunteers and partners work
  • Assist in drafting monthly reports for sharing with the Project Manager;
  • Report challenges or problems faced in a timely manner and participate in planning modifications to plans as needed;
  • Assist in school initiatives, volunteers and partners work for this one
  • Perform general clerk-related tasks;
  • Assist the Field coordinator in implementing project activities as needed (such as distribution, surveying, monitoring etc…)
  • Perform other tasks as the need arises.

 Skills

  • Good computer skills with good command of commonly used software (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, email etc…)
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to-detail.
  • Demonstrated program administration experience
  • Dynamic and pro-active with creative problem solving skills, particularly in challenging situations
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills
  • Familiarity with the area of operation (Palestinian refugee camps)
  • Flexible mobility within the area.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goal
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability

 Requirements and Qualifications

  • A bachelor or technical degree in the field of environmental sciences, health, social sciences or any other relevant field
  • Two to three (2-3) years of related field-level coordination experience
  • Previous experience with Local or International NGO’s will be an advantage
  • Education degree: Bachelor or Technical Degree in health, social sciences or other relevant fields
  •  Previous experience with Local or International NGO’s will be an advantage
