Psychologist - Bekaa

  • Consult, assess, coordinate and implement a plan for intervention to ensure the psychological, social, and physical well-being of children registered in the Learning Centre through confidential documentation
  • Follow up on the cases referred by the teachers of the education classes
  • Advise the education team and the social workers on the appropriate ways to respond, manage and/or refer specific cases and coordinate with them on the most effective ways to deal with the referred child during the sessions
  • Provide necessary technical support to the social workers to assist with organising and providing individual and/or group psychosocial support sessions with the referred child
  • Provide case management and referrals to specialized service providers (including mental helath and legal assistance), according to the specific needs of individual cases
  • Participate in capacity building training related to the area of operations and the scope of the protection programs
  • Provide follow up sessions for parents of the identified high to medium risk cases
  • Coordinate with social workers to provide focused group sessions for identified cases
  • Manage data recording and organisation, and submit monthly reports, concerning the implemented outreach activities, case observation and identification, progress in each case, referrals, focal points meetings and related challenges
