General Practitioner

General objectives & tasks:

1- Provide health care to patients through assessment and treatment of many different conditions:

• Conduct regular patient check-ups.
• Receive and provide consultations for patients suffering from health problems.
• Fill out prescriptions and requirements of the CNSS and/or insurance companies.
• Perform diagnosis of patients and provide treatment or referrals as applicable.
• Identify and analyze complaints.
• Follow up on patient’s health condition.
• Inform and educate patients on health care requirements.
• Demand from patients to conduct medical tests as needed (blood, urine, feces…).
• Analyze tests and generate reports.
• Coordinate with other Medical Doctors in the center.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and refer patients when needed to other medical professionals for specialist treatment or diagnostic tests.

Position Requirements:

Skill set and competencies:

• Must be a member of Lebanese Order of Physicians
• Must have a license to practice the medical profession issued by the Ministry of Health
• Must have passed the colloquium
• Good practical skills (medical skills)
• Extensive knowledge of various medical treatments, methodologies and pharmaceutical solutions.
• Communication skills, compassion and a good bedside manner.
• Professional secrecy and maintaining confidentiality
• Drive to continue learning throughout career

• Good and positive approach

Working schedule: 1 day per week
