Developer & Data Manager TDHIT-MLB-DDM001

The Data Manager will actively support the M&E Team in developing and implementing TDH IT M&E strategy and in monitoring the implementation of several regional projects. He/she is working closely with M&E Manager, Project/Program Management and technical experts.

Main responsibilities:

Design and develop relevant system (on line and off line) for data collection and reporting.

Manage the use, administration, maintenance, backup, security and technical support of databases;

Design and develop data collection workflows and tools (including Kobo and ODK system), based on the project needs;

Supervise and monitor the data collection in the field;

Conduct data input and verifications, perform regular assessments on data validation and cleaning to ensure the quality of the collected data, including timeliness, consistency, precision and accuracy.

Provide continuous support and training for TDH IT and implementing partner staff in data collection, data management and related tools

Produce standard and ad hoc reports on the evaluation of data collection, project’s activities, outputs and outcome;

Participate in cross-departmental collaboration and coordination in order to ensure the linkages between programs and data management practices

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

3 to 5 years relevant professional progressively responsible experience in data management.

Strong experience with ASP.net, VB, java script, Crystal Report, MS SQL and MS Access

Experience in data collection tools (KOBO, ODK...) and Technical GIS knowledge.

Previous experience with an NGO is an advantage

Excellent collaboration skills, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to improvise, team player;

Experience in working with a diverse team.
