Responsibilities and Duties:
Students & Parents
- Actively recruits students for the arts education program.
- Manages student registration procedures and maintains up-to-date records.
- Contacts parents regarding repeated student absenteeism, conducts investigations, and reports to superiors.
- Informs superiors about financially disadvantaged children who may require sponsorship.
- Updates monthly dropout forms and provides overall assessment and explanations of conditions/changes.
- Assists parents in filling out sponsorship applications.
Facilitators
- Conducts facilitator interviews alongside the Administrative & Financial Director.
- Provides necessary facilitator training through workshops.
- Supervises the work of facilitators and program assistants.
- Organizes and leads meetings with facilitators when required.
- Ensures facilitators comply with safeguarding and code of conduct policies as well as the facilitator's handbook instructions.
Arts Education Program
- Regularly meets with the AEP assistant to stay informed about classroom situations and external matters, and follows best practices accordingly.
- Ensures facilitators regularly assess individual student progress using agreed-upon assessment tools.
- Communication
- Contributes to the association's social media platforms and website and shares materials with the social media company.
- Writes AEP news to be published in the association's newsletter.
- Collaborates with assigned parties to follow up with donors and sponsors.
- Acts as the contact person for facilitators regarding parents.
Administrative
- Supervises the creation of individual files for facilitators, including ID, CV, Letter of Engagement, and other necessary documents.
- Establishes teaching schedules for all courses.
- Prepares a preliminary budget for the upcoming academic year, including teacher compensation, resources, and materials, and submits it to the financial director.
- Ensures all courses have the necessary resources and provides them if there are any deficiencies.
- Familiar with emergency procedures and maintains two updated first aid kits.
Requirements:
- Holds a BA (Bachelor of Arts degree).
- Previous experience in the field of arts education.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic, with knowledge of French being advantageous.
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
