Overall Purpose of the Job

To assist in the maintenance and upkeep of all MAG Lebanon programme vehicles and mechanical assets.

Responsibilities

To ensure all MAG vehicles and mechanical assets are in a safe, roadworthy condition at all times.

Undertake all servicing, inspection repair and overhaul of MAG mechanical assets and vehicles, under the direction of the head mechanic.

Report to the Mechanical Technical Field Manager (MTFM) or Mechanical Site Supervisor (MSS) all findings or trends throughout the MAG vehicle fleet.

Work safely, and in accordance with the guidelines set by workshop management staff.

Undertake any other task required to keep the fleet running smoothly, as directed by the workshop management staff.

Communication and Reporting

Ensure that the MTFM/SS is fully briefed on all mechanical issues and any key difficulties arising.

Submit accurate reports as directed by the MTFM or MSS if required.
