About

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is a global, nonprofit organization that strives to share God’s love and compassion for all through relief, development and peacebuilding. Established in 1920, MCC has almost 100 years of experience working with local communities to respond to basic human needs and work for peace and justice and currently operates in 54 countries around the world. MCC has been present in the Middle East for over 50 years, and currently supports projects in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine and Egypt. MCC maintains an office in Beirut, coordinating and supporting projects throughout Lebanon which are implemented in close partnership with local organizations. The portfolio of supported projects include food assistance, livelihoods and early recovery, WASH, education, psychosocial support and peacebuilding.
