Responsibilities:
- Support in many aspects of policy experimentation, including, planning, designing, implementing and analyzing experiments and randomized control trials (RCTs);
- Assist in conducting literature review exercise on various relevant topics, and in developing interventions;
- Coordinate and liaise with counterparts and beneficiaries in different projects to identify the policy challenges and design interventions;
- Prepare communication material and ensure that projects design meet beneficiary needs; evaluations are implemented as planned; timely and accurate data are analyzed and interpreted; and findings are distilled into policy briefs;
- Keep up with the latest findings and experiments on the application of behavioral insights into public policy through rigorous research;
- Conduct miscellaneous research support in the growing field of behavioral economics.
Qualifications:
- Experience in conducting policy trials and experimentation in a field setting, particularly RCTs is highly desirable;
- General knowledge of applied social and behavioral sciences is a plus;
- Readiness to work conjointly with public agencies and NGOs;
- Knowledge of statistical skills, including experience handling large data sets, and the ability to learn new statistical programming languages is an advantage;
- Experience working with R, STATA, SPSS, MATLAB, or E-Views is an added advantage.

- Strong and concise writing skills, including under tight deadlines
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages, written and spoken
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
