Community Health Supervisor

The Candidate will be responsible for providing essential reproductive health services in Makassed mobile clinic for 9 months.

Major Responsibilities:

The community health supervisor will supervises the health service site of the MMU, and will coordinate program activities , monitors and controls expenditures, plans, evaluates and recommends improvements in health care procedures, services and facilities. Collects statistical data, and prepares reports regarding program activities

Duties include:

• 1. Supervises health workers, to include work allocation, problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
  2. Reviews staff reports for clarity, content, and follow through on client month to month plan of care.
  3. Builds and maintains positive working relationships with the clients, providers, nurse, supervisors.
  4. Travels extensively to community locations, and other outreach destinations.
  5. Identify in order of priority the gaps in the delivery of services through mobile clinics, classified as short, medium and long term.
  6. Meet with stakeholders (parents, community leaders, health officials, health care professionals at the operational level) to get a general idea about the situation of the mobile clinics
  7. Supervises Mobile Medical Clinics Operations:
• Travels to and provides onsite management of MMU on a weekly basis.
• Conducts community outreach and promotion of mobile programs.
• Participates in local community events when appropriate.
• Acts as a resource and point of contact for MMU so that any concerns or needs are addressed quickly and ensures that the sites are productive.

Job Requirements:

Education: A certified/registered nurse, public health, social worker, or any major in Health.

 Work Experience: 5 to 7 years working experience, working at community and managerial level within health field with excellent English.
