Psychotherapist - North Bekaa (Labwe) (Repost)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessment and psychotherapy to displaced Syrians, other refugees when needed and members of the host community in the different locations/clinics were IMC is intervening
  • Provide psychosocial support – groups and individuals – to trauma survivors and conflictaffected persons.
  • Work directly with the social worker and the psychiatrist to develop intervention plans and follow up at the home level.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Case Management (CM) team especially the social worker regarding the follow up of the cases and progress of therapy.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to the social worker on common cases.
  • Complete intake assessments, evaluations, treatment recommendations, reviews, and other documentation as necessary.
  • Keep track of patient numbers/cases through IMC outpatient records, to be submitted at the end of every month.
  • Make necessary and timely referrals when needed.
  • Attend weekly or biweekly meetings including the technical meeting with the rest of the CM team.
  • Report directly to IMCMHPSS senior officer.
  • Attend regular meetings, working sessions and trainings organized by IMC.
  • Take part in research activities, mapping exercises or assessments based on mutual consensus with the IMC management team.
  • Deliverables:
  • Submit outpatient records at the end of each month.
  • Submit Consultant periodic Report of executed works that include number of sessions, beneficiaries/patients. This Consultant periodic Report has to be signed and approved by the Psychotherapist and the IMC case manager.
