Apprentices Needed for Mobile Businesses

Concern Worldwide is seeking candidates for an “Apprenticeship Program”. This Expression of Interest is intended for individuals fit to work in mobile phones shops in Akkar and T5 for the period of 6 months. Concern is looking for individuals with demonstrable technical knowledge and experience in the mobile phones domain.

Under the direct guidance of the Livelihoods focal point, the apprentices will work on building and growing their own capacity skills and the business. The apprentices will be expected to carry out a number of tasks with high professionalism during his/her apprenticeship tenure.

 

Roles and responsibilities of Sales Apprentice

Assist new and existing customers with purchase.

Provide optimal customer care services and manage work in fast pace environment.

Administrate all paperwork, keep inventory of merchandise, and order new parts. Ensure that shop has replacement kits and spare parts for any planned repair and order these from wholesale shops as required.

Buy and Sell mobile cell phones, accessories and phones cards or any item the shop provides.

Record keeping of sales.

Deal with customers in order to meet their desires in a professional in a smooth way.

Support in putting Advertising and Marketing plans and help the owner to grow the sales rate.

Building strong daily connections with service providers, wholesale traders and phones providers.

Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Concern Worldwide and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission;

Other assigned tasks, as necessary. 

 

Roles and responsibilities of Mobile Phone repair Technician Apprentice

Administrate all paperwork, keep inventory of merchandise, and order new parts. Ensure that shop has replacement kits and spare parts for any planned repair and order these from wholesale shops as required.

Dissemble, assemble, repair and replace parts.

Provide technical expertise and support when needed.

Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Concern Worldwide and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission;

Other assigned tasks, as necessary.

Qualification and Experience:

6 months experience in mobile phones domain (repairing, sales and management).

Strong oral and professional skills in communication.

User of Microsoft excel.

Team management skills

Demonstrated attention to detail; ability to follow procedures. Strong empathy skills and genuine care and respect for needs of customers.
