Performs the full range of laboratory services including biochemistry, hematology, serology, routine (urine and stool examination) and bacteriology:
Ensures accuracy and completeness of laboratory information in the computerized health information system (e-Health);
Maintains laboratory equipment, supplies and reagents;
Updates the programming of the automated laboratory equipment and follows up the preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment;
At Health Centers without Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist:
prepares estimates of requirements for replenishment of consumable supplies
prepares the monthly and annual laboratory statistical report;
Reviews and analyzes quality control results (internal and external) and makes the necessary intervention
Performs such other duties and assignments as may be required.
