Finance & Accounting Trainer

Among these projects, the Support to Micro Enterprises program has been running in North Lebanon and accompanying very Small entrepreneurs since 2010. Following the main training of the program, one of the important activities in this project is the specialized trainings sessions which aims to build the capacities of entrepreneur in a specific domain such as Finance, Marketing, Human resources Management …  In order to success in the implementation of such expansion and development, IECD is Looking for an experienced Trainer in Finance and Accounting.

 

The Financial and Accounting Trainer will be responsible of the following tasks: (the below list does not show any priority. All the tasks are equally important)

1/ Before and during the training sessions:

  • Know existing training content and IECD pedagogical tools and methodology.
  • Train the IECD beneficiaries on how to measure the financial status of their enterprises and provide them with expert information & tools on budgeting, accounting tools to manage and maintain their enterprise accounts…
  • Making sure that beneficiaries have the financial and accountancy knowledge to pilot, manage, anticipate their business status, and have the capacity to build their income statement and balance sheet after building their accounting tools.
  • Adapt content and methodologies during the training according to beneficiaries needs and level of competency.
  • Deliver trainings in accounting/ finance to groups of beneficiaries of TPE program (7 sessions of 3 hours for each training)
  • Be in charge of sessions implementation: fill all the documents required during training sessions such as attendance sheet, evaluation template and final report…and collaborate with TPE team

2/ Outside the training sessions:

  • Provide advice and follow up for our TPE “Club des Entrepreneurs” beneficiaries if needed.
  • Help our “Club des Entrepreneurs” members and interested beneficiaries in building their financial policies and accounting system for their business
  • Within “Club des Entrepreneurs”, provide written documents and verbal presentations if requested by beneficiaries.

 

 

Required skills and competencies:

  • Good knowledge of Lebanese accounting and financial systems
  • Good Knowledge of the Lebanese Tax Law
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good Facilitation skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to adapt with different personalities.
  • Build good relations with trainees and understand their needs.
