Qualifications and Required skills
Bachelor degree in social sciences, social assistance or relevant fields;
Experience: Minimum 3 years
Organizational capacity and time management;
Communication skills and negotiation capacity;
Team work capacity;
Creativity and capacity to find solutions
High interest in human rights issues.
Scope of the Role
Conducting monitoring visits in prisons
Needs assessment interview (health issues, psychological distress, family support, basic needs);
Providing social support, counseling and follow-up for the PoCs (Points of Care) in order to accompany them in their daily life difficulties, to deliver to them relevant information and awareness;
Providing social support and guidance for beneficiaries preparing to be released in order to facilitate their reintegration in the society;
Coordination of the internal and external referrals to legal, health, social and psychological services.
Identifying Persons with Specific Needs (PWSN) and provides specialized services and follow-up: persons with disabilities, LGBT, minors in conflict with the law and victims of torture;
Monitoring collective detention conditions and finding solutions to improve them;
Recruitment of beneficiaries for vocational trainings sessions and other activities of the project.
