Proposal Developer & Grant Writer Post

Peace of Art is looking for an experienced proposal writer to join our team to assist in preparing proposals. This can include gathering information, formatting it according to the organization’s policy and obtaining approval before sending the proposal to the appropriate sources.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Determine a concept for proposals by attending meetings and identifying opportunities
• Meet deadlines by being capable of prioritizing responsibilities and balancing your workload
• Edit and revise proposals according to notes given by executives
• Help create graphics and visuals for certain projects
• Work as part of a team to offer suggestions for improvements or ways to streamline the process

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in working with NGOs
• At least 2 successful projects writen by the applicant
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Fluent in Arabic & English both in written and spoken

Peace of Art is a registered Lebanese NGO; under the registration number no. 654. The main objective of Peace of Art is to create a community where arts & other nonviolent means of communication are employed for the betterment of society and its living conditions. PoA started in 2016 with a group of artists who use arts for peace issues, targeting youth, children and women from different backgrounds (religions, villages, sectors, nationalities...) who have to accessibility to arts in the deprived area of North Bekaa. Our program ensures a creative platform and a safe space for youth and children to interact and grow away from the continuous conflicts, violence and crisis that affect them. Peace of Art's work focuses on building awareness, fighting discrimination and empowering local society to meet SDG goals and attain sustainable development in North Bekaa region.
