Training Officer (Disaster Management)

Operational Roles and Responsibilities

1. Conduct training needs assessments at the DM level to support the design, development and delivery of training programs and strategies.
2. Support in supervising and evaluating of training programs to make sure they meet the training needs.
3. Assist in the development of training tools. 
4. Provide DM training courses for various audience.
5. Monitor the yearly training plan.
6. Schedule and coordinate training programs with the project managers and trainers.
7. Follow up on DM volunteers training database. 
8. Follow up of DM trainers and coaches’ database. 
9. Assist in reporting on trainings. 
10. Reserve training facilities as needed. 
11. Communicate with DM centers for trainings. 
12. Follow-up on training logistics.

Monitor and update the allocated training budget.
