Researcher (three positions)

A team of three researchers will:

1.    conduct interviews with Syrians and locals in Lebanon, Cyprus, Germany, Sweden, France and the UK

2.    review the interview transcripts and conduct desk review of existing literature on peaceful coexistence

3.    write six research papers about thematic topics related to peaceful coexistence

Eligibility criteria:

Ability to travel to and spend a few days in two of the project countries (expenses paid by Sharq) essential

At least five years of experience writing extended research papers essential

Must be a published author

Experience working on research related to Syrians or peaceful coexistence essential

Written fluency in either Arabic or English is essential

Oral fluency in second language desirable
