Community Center Manager - Nabaa

Role and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervise the implementation of all Community Center projects
- Manage day-to-day activities and coordinate logistics for of all Community Center projects
- Ensure that all Center activities are in compliance with local laws and Basmeh and Zeitooneh’s Code of Conduct
- Ensure that all projects’ activities in the Center follow the initial grant agreement
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports detailing the progress of projects in the Center, the challenges faced, and the achievements
- Liaise with different projects’ personnel at the Center level, developing and reviewing plans and operational requirements to deliver necessary resources in a timely and cost effective manner
- Coordinate all activities within the Center and ensure all projects have the tools, space, and resources necessary to carry out the necessary project activities
- Inform Area Manager, in a timely manner, of the continued requirements for leasing and the occupation of
premises, including renewal of leases, as well as the requirements for new premises and facilities, in accordance with the area’s priorities
- Collaborate with Programs Department and Project Managers to contribute to the design and delivery of the programs; provide support to all functions that facilitate these processes
- Certify attendance records of Center staff, Unit Supervisors and Projects Coordinators, and submit them to HR unit
- Certify leave requests for the Unit Supervisor and Project Coordinators within the Center based on established leave plans; ensure that adequate staffing levels are maintained
- Utilize available resources to support donor and delegation visits, in compliance with administrative instructions on official visits
- Coordinate with stakeholders in the Center area to ensure the best service delivery to the targeted community
- Prepare the Center’s monthly work plan in accordance with the grant agreements
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Area Manager

 

Skills & Qualifications: 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with adequate computer and research skills 
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Diplomatic approach, with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Successful in leading and motivating teams
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Strong commitment to integrity, respect for diversity, and the ability to inspire other Basmeh and Zeitooneh staff members

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, International Relations,International Development, Economics or any other related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a management position and in dealing with budgets, team leadership and strategic planning
- Previous managerial experience in non-governmental organizations
- Thorough understanding of humanitarian issues, strategies and of non-governmental organizations
