The Infant and Young Child Feeding Campaign Officer (IYCF Campaign Officer) will be responsible for the preparation of materials and logistics related to the National Breastfeeding Campaign
Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Participate in planning, preparing and implementing the National Breastfeeding Campaign activities.
- Assist in preparing an electronic form for organizations and companies wishing to apply for recognition as mother and child friendly workplace
- Draft the guideline of the mother and child friendly work places as a tool for the workplaces to obtain the label from MoPH
- Participate in the development and production of the campaign training materials targeting the companies interested in becoming mother and child friendly spaces
- Coordinate with the Mother and Child Department and submit the prepared materials to the Ministry of Public Health
- Attend IOCC-related staff meetings when required
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Fluency in reading/writing/speaking Arabic and English is necessary
- Good public speaking and communication skills
- Strong social, interpersonal and intercultural skills
- Team player
- Able to meet deadlines
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
