Operations Clerk (FAP)

 

1- Identifying Family Reunification applicants outside the German Embassy and inform them of the shuttle service and the services provide at FAP office upon request;

 

2- Organizing passengers for shuttle and seating procedures to go to the FAP office and return at the Embassy;

 

3- Coordinating with the security and the German Embassy staff to ensure orderly procedures for applicants transportation;

 

4- Immediately informing the FAP Team Leader  of  any  problems, changes, or  complications encountered during  the movement and report any issue with security personnel or Embassy staff;

 

5- Finding immediate solutions for minor problems or disturbances;

 

6- Maintain a professional appearance and migrant-friendly demeanour at all times;

 

7- Perform any other duties as may be assigned.

 

All operational clerks, while under FAP employment, must respect and abide by all rules and regulations of the International Organization for Migration. As representatives of FAP, it is expected that all operational clerks will conduct themselves in a mature and professional manner at all times. During a movement, and while otherwise actively employed by FAP, operational clerks should refrain from expressing any personal political opinions, biases, prejudices or other views which may be misinterpreted as being those of IOM.

 

IOM is an internationally recognized inter-governmental organization, and operational clerks must at no time, through actions or comments, jeopardize the good name and standing of the organization. Therefore, it is imperative that they dress appropriately and are respectful and professional when inter-acting with other agency officials, governmental officials, border police, and the refugees themselves.

 

FAP operational clerks must also accept responsibility for the well-being of the passengers during the movement's entirety. Additionally, they must engage in no other activities while working as an operational clerk. Those who are found engaging in private business, smuggling, misrepresenting trip/hotel costs, etc.; or who are found to be intoxicated while escorting or driving, will be unconditionally terminated.
