Campaign Project Manager

ABOUT MSF

Doctors without Borders (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization committed to two objectives: providing medical assistance to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, healthcare exclusion, natural and man-made disasters; and speaking out about the plight of the populations assisted. MSF offers assistance to people based only on need and irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation. Today, MSF is present in more than 70 countries, where thousands of MSF doctors, nurses, logisticians, water-and-sanitation experts, and other medical and non-medical professionals work together to bring essential health services to people caught in humanitarian crises.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

  • Liaise with Head of Communications to understand campaign requirements, scope and objectives in line with the existing campaign proposal.
  • Create a detailed project action plan and production timeline in line with the existing campaign proposal and the pre-defined budget.
  • Follow up with assigned focal points within the communications team their assigned campaign deliverables.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including: product concept notes, external agencies quotations, budget tracking sheet and others.
  • Brief and oversee the work of external agencies such as designers, production companies, animators and printers.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, equipment and information
  • Ensure that the MSF brand and identity is adhered to in all communication channels
  • Support in financial planning by helping design, prepare and follow up budgets
  • Make sure invoices are in line with MSF accountancy standards
  • Mitigate risks and identify opportunities as they come up
  • Oversee project procurement management
  • Monitor project progress and flag for follow up any issues that arise
  • Maintain internal information flow on the campaign
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management  any issues as needed
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant or related area of  study or equivalent work experience
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • At least 3 years of proven working experience in project  management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Arabic & English
  • Strong planning skills
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Strong  teamwork skills
  • Process Improvement
  • Developing and Tracking Budgets
  • Previous experience  working with NGOs is a plus
