Finance & Admin Intern

Position Summary

As a Finance & Admin intern, you will be based in INJAZ Lebanon Beirut office with the following working schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 am till 3:00 pm and responsible of:

  • Performing accounting transactions, bookkeeping
  • Handling the soft and hardcopy filing of the department
  • Support in Accounts Payables payments and reconciliations
  • Support in Bank and Cash reconciliations

The Finance & Admin intern will be reporting to the Finance & Administration Officer based in Beirut office

Responsibilities

  

Accounting:

  • Performs bookkeeping of accounting transactions
  • Submits weekly statement of accounts of suppliers to the Finance & Admin Officer and agree on the payments of the week
  • Performs confirmation balance with third parties
  • Performs Bank and Cash reconciliations

 

Admin:

  • Reviews all supporting documents of invoices and payments and make sure they are all valid
  • Handles the soft and hardcopy filing of the department
 

Position Qualifications:

  • Majoring in Business Administration/Other relevant field or equivalent.
  • Details oriented.
  • Very good written and communication skills.
  • Sincere interest in the mission of INJAZ Lebanon and in entrepreneurship.
  • Highly organized, motivated and a team player.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
  • Good knowledge in MS office (preferably also in Adobe suite).
