LRPS-2019-9150312 for the provision of Training and Workshops services

The long-term agreement (LTA) is an open agreement or a modality whereby UNICEF engages an institution based on competitive assessment to provide the services requested at agreed dates throughout the agreement period.  Upon signature of the agreement by both parties, UNICEF would then contact the institution for each event a time. 

UNICEF Lebanon Country Office (LCO) fosters the culture of continuous learning and supports staff members in fulfilling their capacity building needs in various areas. Based on a strategic learning needs assessment UNICEF Lebanon Country Office has developed a Learning Strategy. Hence, to provide diversified opportunities for staff, UNICEF seeks to engage institutions to provide and tailor in-house workshops responding to the LCO Learning Strategy 

UNICEF LCO seeks to engage a professional Institution organization with proven experience in facilitating training and workshops on one or more of the topics or related topics below: 

Soft Skills: 

Emotional Intelligence or EQ 

Time Management or Priority Management 

Stress Management 

Management & Leadership Skills 

Business Ethics 

Individual Skills Building:  

Public Speaking 

(Advanced) Negotiation Skills 

Advocacy Skills 

Project Management  

Project Management Professional Preparatory Course 

HR Management (various areas) 

Microsoft Suites, including but not limited to: Excel, PPT, SharePoint, PowerBI 

Social Media and Digital Communication 

Business Writing 

Administrative Management 

Career Management & Development: 

Career Management workshop 

Individual Coaching/Counselling 

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Officer the institution (facilitators) will: 

Discuss and understand the purpose of the workshop, then present an agenda for the workshop. 

Deliver the one-day workshop in UNICEF Premises then present a final report and attendance per workshop. 

Issue attendance certificates 

Deliverables and Schedules :

UNICEF will contact the institution 2 weeks prior each workshop.  

The institution shall:  

Prepare and present a tailored agenda within 5 working days.  

Deliver the one-day workshop at UNICEF premises on the agreed date 

Before the workshop: 

 A tailored agenda  

After the workshop: 

Attendance Reports 

Recommendations 

Attendance certificates 

Mandatory Profile Requirements :

The team will be composed of professionals having the following requirements: 

Advanced degree in Business, Management, IT, MIS (or any relevant field) 

At least 5 years of proven experience in design, delivery and facilitation of corporate events, seminars, workshops in an elevated level and multicultural settings. 

Excellent written and spoken English 

Previous experience working with non-profit organizations and UN agencies is an asset. 

Note: the institution shall present their proposal per topic. It is not mandatory to cover all the areas; the assessment will be done by topic covered. 

Technical and Financial Evaluation Criteria :

The following criteria must be part of the submission, with a total score over 60: 

Completeness of Response and understanding of UNICEF Requirements (5 points) 

Overall concord between RFP requirements and proposal (5 points) 

Provide an outline and agenda of each of the workshops/trainings available (5 points) 

Quality and creativity of proposed activities, report samples and infographics (5 points)  

Experience working on similar projects, clients’ references and contact details (20 points- 5 points for each letter of reference up to maximum 20 points) 

Key personnel: relevant academic and work experience of the proposed team of facilitators (20 points- 10 points for the profile of the team leader, 3 points for the profile of each team member) provide profiles of the personnel. 

Financial evaluation Criteria: 

Only bidders obtaining the minimum pass mark in the technical evaluation (45 points) will be considered for the financial evaluation. Financial evaluation is composed of 40 points. The lowest financial offer will obtain 40 points. Short-listed institutions may be invited for a pilot session should it be deemed necessary for final selection 

Administrative Issues :

The institutional contractor will provide their consultant(s) with a laptop and a mobile phone and other required equipment. 

All remuneration must be within the contract agreement. 

All print or electronic material drafted, designed and submitted by the consultant to UNICEF during the period of the consultancy remain the property of UNICEF LCO. 

The selected institutional contractor may not commence work or travel until the relevant individual contract has been duly approved, signed by both parties and returned to supply section, together with the required documents and certifications

UNICEF Lebanon would like to tender to provide services for Training and Workshops as stipulated in the attached LRPS. Hence, I am writing to invite you for submitting your proposal to LRPS-2019-9150312.

You are kindly requested to quote your best price and submit your proposal by e-mail ONLY to: lebtender@unicef.org not later than 12:00h, 22 July 2019, otherwise it will be considered invalid.

 

Proposals should be sent by email ONLY to lebtender@unicef.org in two separate emails not later than 12:00h, 22 July 2019: one email for the technical proposal and one email for the financial proposal.

- Email for technical proposal:

Subject line of the email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- technical proposal. The email must include: The technical proposal only without prices.

- Email for price proposal:

Subject line of the email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- price proposal. The email must include: The price proposal.

Proposals sent in another manner will be invalid.

 

The reference LRPS- 9150312 must be shown in the e-mail's subject.
