Developer and Data Manager

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support the design and the constant development of the existing data collection system
• Design and develop relevant system (on line and off line, including ODK and Kobo) for data collection and reporting
• Manage the use, administration, maintenance, backup, security and technical support of databases and data collection system
• Regularly perform data quality checking, cleaning and assessment to ensure the quality of the collected data, including timeliness, consistency, precision and accuracy
• Train and provide continuous technical support to the field staff in data collection
• Act in close cooperation with MEAL Team and relevant managers

Qualifications and experience:

• 2 to 3 years relevant professional progressively responsible experience in data management.
• Strong experience with ASP.net, VB, java script, Crystal Report, MS SQL and MS Access
• Experience in data collection tools (KOBO, ODK...) and Technical GIS knowledge.
• Previous experience with an NGO is an advantage
• Excellent collaboration skills, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to improvise, team player;
• Experience in working with a diverse team.
