Project Coordinator

Providing Health Services to 300 displaced Syrian and vulnerable Lebanese Children at Risk in North Lebanon (particularly Batroun, Chekka, Qobbeh, Beb El Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen) and the Southern Suburbs of Beirut (particularly Baabda, Aley, Beirut, El Meten, El Chouf and Keserwan) as well as to 550 displaced Syrian and vulnerable Lebanese Persons with Mental illness in the same areas in North Lebanon, Beirut, and Mount Lebanon (particularly Jbeil, Keserwan, El Meten, Baabda, Aley, El Chouf).

 

  • Managing and Supervising the execution of the actions in line with project description outcomes and outputs.
  • Undertaking duties to support the delivery of activities, which focus on improving the well-being of targeted population.
  • Tracking the progress and quality of work being performed by Project Team as per the Indicators tracking table (ITT) and M&E (Including Social workers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Neurologists, Psychomotor therapists, Speech therapists, Special educators, Administrative Officers…). And Coordinating the activities to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures and specifications.
  • Using project scheduling and control tools (M&E Tools) to monitor projects plans, work performances, budgets and expenditures.
  • Ensuring patients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Developing Interim and Final reports and share them with the donors for their review.
  • Assisting in the preparation of the budget and the staffing table.
  • Effectively and accurately communicating relevant project information to the project team as well as all stakeholders involved in LCRP.
  • Developing referral strategies with all concerned stakeholders and receiving new referrals on a daily basis.
  • Conducting internal case conferences to discuss complex and acute cases with the Head of Rehabilitation Unit and other concerned specialists at Restart.
  • Communicating updates and feedback regarding cases to concerned agencies and Stakeholders regarding patients.
  • Assisting the Procurement officer in the review of ITBs and Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval.
  • Actively participating in the monthly health working group and other sectors meetings to exchange experiences and explore solutions to the existing needs.
  • Actively participating in the Health and Psychosocial support North Task Force (MHPSS TF a coordinated body chaired by the MoPH) monthly meeting.
