Center Coordinator - 3 Vacancies

  • Organise the timetable of education activities for the center, supported by the Centre Education Focal Point and, where necessary, by the Area Coordinator;
  • Coordinate closely with the CP Team Leader for the area to support the delivery of Child Protection programme activities in the center;
  • Actively monitor progress against targets for all centre activities and report these monthly, in English, to the Area Coordinator;
  • Organize regular meetings with the center staff in order to ensure the correct implementation of the program according to the working plan. Work together with the staff to regularly review and update the work plan, when needed;
  • Communicate challenges in reaching targets in a timely fashion to the Area Coordinator and identify corrective actions;
  • In coordination with the Outreach Workers, monitor children enrolled in activities and waiting lists and share regular updates with the Area Coordinator;
  • Take overall responsibility for management of data and documentation at center level (child registration forms, attendance sheets, pre- and post-tests, receipts, invoices, delivery notes), ensuring that information is correctly recorded;
  • Monitor the logistical and stock needs of the center (transportation, fresh food and water, stationery and other stock, educational resources, gas, utilities and incidental maintenance) and coordinate with the Logistics and Procurement team to ensure that these needs are met;
  • Provide a monthly budget forecast for the centre’s needs to the Area Coordinator and finance team;
  • In coordination with the Centre CP Focal Point, timetable CP in Education activities (focused PSS sessions, recreational activities, awareness sessions and trips) including the relevant activity plan and budget forecast;
  • In coordination with the CP team, conduct and update service mapping of the area at least on a quarterly basis;
  • Liaise closely with municipalities and other local stakeholders, communicating project updates and changes, to ensure a smooth working relationship;
  • Act as a positive ambassador for TDH’s portfolio of activities within the community;
  • Any other duty assigned by your Line Manager.
