Emotional Crisis Management Trainer

1.   Main Objective:

This position falls under the capacity building component of the MADAD REBAHS - (Reducing Economic Barriers to Access Health Services in Lebanon) project which aims to increase the capacity of both mental health and non-mental health professionals working on the field with trainings that can empower them in their day-to-day work.

The Emotional Crisis Management (ECM) Trainer will update the existing national crisis management training manual and provide trainings to frontliner staff across Lebanon.

2.   Main Tasks:

• In close coordination with Social Promotion Foundation (FPS) and the National Mental Health Programme (NMHP), set the selection criteria of targeted groups (frontliner staff) and select the frontliner staff accordingly
• In coordination with the NMHP, develop and update the existent training manual
• Provide crisis management trainings in the various governorates
• Administer pre and post-tests and training evaluation 
• Document all necessary feedback and provide regular training reports to the FPS project coordinator and NMHP

3.   Deliverables:

• Update ECM training manual
• Pre and post-tests results
• Training evaluation filled forms
• Training report

4.   Qualifications:

• Master in psychology; PhD is a plus
• Training experience of at least 5 years
• Experience in psychological interventions in emergency setting for at least 5 years
• Experience in humanitarian context is a plus
• Strong facilitation and organizational skills
• Motivated-and ability to work in a team
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Willing to travel across Lebanon

6.   Languages and Computer Literacy:

• Fluent in English and Arabic
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
