Child Protection Trainer of Teachers

Contract duration:  6 man days

Work place: Tripoli, Lebanon

Payment: according to the budget rate

SEED is a non-profit nongovernmental organization working in Tripoli to support the education sector since 2016.

Since SEED together with People in Need Slovakia are implementing a project financially supported by SlovakAid under the tittle: ‘Education as a pathway to better living conditions for vulnerable children and youth from Lebanese and refugee communities in Tripoli’.

We are looking for a child protection trainer

Work description:

• Evaluates capacity needs of teachers in the field of Child Protection who provides Early Childhood Education and Homework Support  courses
• Prepares and implements trainings for teachers in the field of child protection, psychosocial support , children safety, identification of children cases needed to be referred to social workers
• Evaluates knowledge and skills of teachers after training
• Recommends the organization other specific methods and tools for capacity building in the field of Child Protection

Required level of education, qualifications and skills:

• Graduate of higher education (e.g. master) from Child Protection or other relevant degree
• At least 2 years of experience as an expert  in leading position who build capacities in the field of child protection for organizations or state/international institutions including experience with preparation and implementation of module trainings for educational staff about  child protection and case management
• Completed certified trainings in area of child protection or psychosocial support
• Proven experience in working with vulnerable children
• Knowledge of informal education sector in Lebanon
• Fluency in Arabic and English language
• Being able to adapt to cultural context and follow the vision, values and principles of SEED and People in Need Slovakia
