SEED is a non-profit nongovernmental organization working in Tripoli to support the education sector since 2016.
Since SEED together with People in Need Slovakia are implementing a project financially supported by SlovakAid under the tittle: ‘Education as a pathway to better living conditions for vulnerable children and youth from Lebanese and refugee communities in Tripoli’.
We are looking or a monitoring and evaluation expert
Work description:
- Carrying out the a baseline and final monitoring as well as evaluating the humanitarian project of People In Need Slovakia implemented with a partner organization SEED in Tripoli
- Works on a report evaluating quality of projects, its outputs, sustainability and benefits for the target groups through direct monitoring and consultation with beneficiaries.
- Develops proposals and recommendations which can be further used in the implementation process in future projects focused on educational support in refugee communities
Required qualification and skills:
- Completed higher education in development, humanities or other relevant studies
- At least 2 years of experience in similar projects
- Experience in monitoring and evaluation of humanitarian projects focused on education is advantage
- Fluency in English and Arabic language
- Experience in developing reports and recommendations
- Experience in publishing is an advantage
- Interest in improving efficiency of humanitarian projects
- Being able to adapt to cultural context and follow the vision, values and principles of SEED and People in Need Slovakia
