Call For Tender For Welding Simulator Under RDPP Project -TND-WS-EOI-001

1. BACKGROUND

Safadi Foundation is launching the second phase of its Accelerated Vocational Training Centre for the Socio-Economic inclusion in the North. The project’s main overall objective is to stimulate sustainable economic participation of vulnerable youth to promote their inclusion in the development of marginalized communities. In the long-term, inclusion can transform youth socio-economic outlook making them active participants in decreasing unemployment rates and increasing their household income. The specific objective of this project will be to develop youth employability through comprehensive training programmes. Target beneficiaries will have access to accelerated market-based training and self-development programs that will prepare them to increase their competitiveness in the skilled labour market. Finally, the project will aim to strengthen private sector and national actor engagement in active labour market programmes, by participating in developing an effective labour programme leading to significant reduction in identified skills gap. Since Safadi Foundation is a leading not-for-profit organization based in Lebanon, and is currently establishing a “Welding training Lab” as part of the “Safadi Institute For Accelerated Vocational Training - SAVTC” in Tripoli, Lebanon project , aiming to  provide the local industry with  qualified  and trained welding personnel, as well as to serve as a regional center for professional training and education

2. OBJECTIVE

Safadi Foundation is seeking to identify and pre-select potential suppliers capable of installing and delivering a Welding Simulator. Interested suppliers are requested to send Expression of Interest (EOI) highlighting their capacities in the following fields:

1. Supply, installation and delivery of Welding Simulator 
2. TOT (training at SF site)
3. Providing Manuals.
4. Providing Full Support Service. (e.g. Frequent visits to the lab, IT services related to
5. Providing Applications (TIG, Electrode, MIG/MAG Welding)
6. Providing 3D Glasses
7. VR languages (Arabic – English)

3. KEY CONSIDERATIONS

This call is opened to qualified, nationally based companies, fulfilling the pre-selection criteria defined below:

• Should be Registered under the Lebanese rules and regulations
• Only those with a strong, proven track record of performance and quality in this field are encouraged to participate. (If possible, share brochures, flyers, etc.)
• Should be able to provide the requested services within the area of Tripoli
