Operational Roles and Responsibilities

1. Request and order the list of tools required for women's detection, and the list of medicines for gynecological diseases and family planning.
2. Register services provided and treatment plan for each patient on their designated medical files.
3. Develop, assess and evaluate individual programs of care.
4. Assist the gynecologist in the Health Centers when needed. 
5. Participate in the national campaign of the prevention against breast and uterus cancer. 
6. Monitor and examine women during pregnancy.
7. Provide full antenatal care, including screening tests in the hospital, community and the home.
8. Identify high risk pregnancies and make referrals to doctors and other medical specialists or agencies for needed cases. 
9. Arrange and provide parenting and health education.
10. Provide counselling and advice before and after screening and tests.
11. Give support and advice on the daily care of the baby, including breastfeeding, bathing and making up feeds.
12. Liaise with other health and social care professionals in the HC to ensure continuity of care.
13. Conduct educational lectures on the reproductive health program in community, schools and health centers.
