Project Coordinator

MISSION

Under the responsibility of « Short vocational Trainings” project manager, the “Skills for your business” project officer will be in charge of :

1/ Recruitment of beneficiaries

• Prospection, identification and selection process
• Outreach in collaboration with “Short Vocational trainings” team in Saida & Tyre
• Building local partnerships
• Social media communication strategy in collaboration with communication manager

2/ Trainings implementation in IECD office In Saida & Tyre

• Quickly master the content of the training sessions (basic management, financial, marketing & communication)
• Participate actively in the development and adaptation of the training’s material
• Ensure the logistic and coordination of training sessions
• Identify, recruit & form new trainers and insure support to trainers during training sessions
• Ensure the quality of training and coaching sessions

3/ Follow up 

• Beneficiaries follow up during and after the training.
• Monitoring & evaluation of project impact (collect quantitative and qualitative data on project performance and impact on beneficiaries) and recommend needed improvement 

4/Development of the project

• Identify and establish relations with other relevant organizations involved and interested in economic development

PROFILE

Education: Graduated in development, economics, business management or other relevant field

Experience: 2 to 5 years’ experience in public or private sector, or in NGOs

• Strong experience in project management
• Experience in Business Development Services (BDS) or in small enterprises is an advantage

Skills:

• Arab language is compulsory
• Good level of written English and/or French is required
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Experience in dealing or communicating with our target audience (at ease and self-confident while addressing

     beneficiaries, trainers and partners)

• Organizational skills, autonomy, proactive approach
• Interest in the socioeconomic development sector
• Adherence to IECD values: respect of the person, always in the service of others, a professional commitment              
• Confident with MS Words, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
