Key activities in your role will include
Objective 1: Technical monitoring and supervision of ACF Community Protection Approach (CPA) (60%)
- Support in updating SOPs for ACF Community Protection Approach in compliance with standard SoPs and upon validation of the Task Force
- Ensuring community participation and empowerment in all CPA steps implemented in each targeted locality and ensuring proper representation of the targeted population
- Provide capacity building of field staff related to CPA steps
- Support any activity that helps reaching our humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities.
- Coordinate with LPC partners for the implementation of the CPA, with focus on the integration of CBI in the Protection Response Plan.
- Providing technical support for field coordinator and CPA field officer in defining and managing the CPA process
- Work jointly with the LPC Supervisor to ensure timely and quality implementation of the activities in line with the project workplans
- Proactively solve technical challenges which may arise during program implementation and when necessary draw upon the expertise from Consortium’s team
Objective 2: To set up and operate proper implementation of the project including all context within the LPC (20%)
- Integration of protection aspects and protection mainstreaming in all sector departments
- Supporting when needed in CBI activity within ACF
- Ensure that Cash intervention within LPC is set according to deadline of emergency and new arrival within the context needed.
- Manage all Cash activities within the LPC (new arrival) by coordinating the need to Admin department (to find the best way to deliver cash) and discuss with PM about the way of intervention.
Objective 3: To build the capacity of LPC key staff technically by coordinating the development of the technical aspects in the implementation and ensuring appropriate consultations with stakeholders at all levels in coordination with the LPC Programme Manager and supervisor (20%)
- Coordinating with other consortium agency when needed to find the best practice.
- Coordinating with other departments (FSL, WaSH, MEAL...) to integrate the protection response into their sectors.
- Liaise with DPMs of each department to identify the gaps that they cannot cover under their funds and possibly can be covered under LPC.
- Provide training for staff on the gaps identified through the project frame
- Provide training and build capacity of the LPC staff members (particularly field officers) on LPC implementation modalities, monitoring, risk assessment and mitigation measures
Objective 4: To support other humanitarian activities of AAH
- Support the emergency interventions of the organization as per the employee’s abilities.
- Support any activity that helps reaching our humanitarian goals, as per the employee’s abilities.
- Promote gender equality within the humanitarian and/or development work
Objective 5: Security
- Respect the security rules specified in the mission and base security plan and perform the security management tasks that can be assigned in its protocols.
- Communicate to the security managers of the working location any security related information or noncompliance with the security plan.
Do you meet the profile required criteria?
Training/ Education:
- Protection and gender mainstreaming in project formulation, implementation and monitoring
- PDM
- Her/Him received the basic knowledge and training of Community Based approach strategy
- University degree in Socio-Economic disciplines, International Cooperation, or other relevant subjects
Technical specific knowledge:
- Excellent knowledge of Protection (including technical guidelines, standards, M&E, logistic and administrative procedures).
- Proven knowledge and technical skills in design, implementation and monitoring of cash intervention which fit into the LPC
- Good knowledge on other Food Security and Basic Assistance activities (kit distribution, basic services provision).
- Excellent communication skills and integration background into all department
- Knowledge in protection response plan and consortiums standards
Previous experience:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in the humanitarian sector within community mobilization
- Specific field experiences in Cash based compulsory

Our remuneration package:
We offer immediate incorporation to a dynamic international network with the following remuneration package:
- Salary range from USD1,930 to USD 2,294 basic per month according to the candidate’s previous experience (based on the standard list of Action Against Hunger - Spain)
- Salary progression based on the annual development appraisal
- LBP 8,000 daily transportation allowance on working days
