Specific duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct Household visits to raise awareness on different health and nutrition topics
- Provision of key messages on vaccination, nutrition, adolescent health, reproductive health and mental health and provision of brochures/leaflets
- Follow up with the identified vaccination drop outs, pregnant women, and other referrals
- Participate in any health and nutrition event performed
- Fill in all registration forms and referral slips
- Report daily, weekly, and monthly on activities and results to the field supervisor
- Attend regular staff meetings, trainings and other meetings as requested.
Requirements:
- Openness to working with displaced Syrian, Palestinian and host communities
- Experience in community sensitization /mobilization
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team spirit and flexibility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to details
- Good time-management and multi-cultural tolerance.
- Maintain high standard of professional integrity in all activities
- Computer skills (Microsoft office)
- Immediate availability to take up position if selected
