Field Worker (Nutrition)

Specific duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct Household visits to raise awareness on different health and nutrition topics
• Provision of key messages on vaccination, nutrition, adolescent health, reproductive health and mental health and provision of brochures/leaflets
• Follow up with the identified vaccination drop outs, pregnant women, and other referrals  
• Participate in any health and nutrition event performed
• Fill in all registration forms and referral slips
• Report daily, weekly, and monthly on activities and results to the field supervisor
• Attend regular staff meetings, trainings and other meetings as requested.

Requirements:

• Openness to working with displaced Syrian, Palestinian and host communities
• Experience in community sensitization /mobilization
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team spirit and flexibility
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to details
• Good time-management and multi-cultural tolerance.
• Maintain high standard of professional integrity in all activities
• Computer skills (Microsoft office)
• Immediate availability to take up position if selected
