Livelihoods (Economic Recovery) Intern

About the job

  • To support the Economic Recovery department in analysis and participating to the library, reports and tools development. Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
  • Analyze context and programmatic data to create reports and visuals to inform program and for advocacy
  • Participate in tools development
  • Support the field teams when needed
  • Contribute to the analyze and reporting of the livelihoods journey based on field interviews done by MEAL
  • Design and write project sheets for economic recovery ​
  • Create an organized Economic Recovery online library for the teams

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have a bachelor degree in a relevant sector (social sciences, political sciences, economy, humanitarian sector)

Moreover, we also expect the following: 

Required

  • Knowledge of humanitarian work in general
  • Knowledge of economic recovery/livelihoods a plus
  • Very good command of IT
  • Analysis capacities
  • Currently enrolled in a Master degree
  • English – fluent mandatory
  • Arabic – desired

We offer

  • Contract length: 4 to 6 months
  • Duty Station: Lebanon, Beirut
  • Start date: September 2019
