INJAZ Lebanon is on the look-out for a motivated individual with interests in the nonprofit sector, communications, writing, design, and entrepreneurship.
Working schedule for the intern will include Monday to Friday from 9AM to 3:00PM, but the schedule can be flexible. Work may include some early morning, and/or weekend events in some cases.
Transportation compensation will be provided. Per diem transportation of LL10,000
Responsibilities may include:
- Draft and write content including success stories, blog posts, press releases, etc.
- Update the website and blog section.
- Assist in the creation of the annual report
- Help with the planning and hosting of marketing events such as competitions or trade fair participation.
- Live Social Media coverage during events and workshops – visits to different locations may be requested (transportation will be covered)
- Update and maintain INJAZ Lebanon’s social media presence including drafting, scheduling and posting content to social media channels
- Support other colleagues from other departments whenever necessary.
Qualifications:
- Completed or pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing and Graphic Design.
- Big passion for writing
- Firm grasp of available tools and platforms in the social media space
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English
- Computer skills, including proficiency with Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office and social media.
