The Quality Control Officer (Wharehouse) is responsible for monitoring and following up on the implementation of the Lebanon school feeding project in Public Schools, with main responsibilities to ensure appropriate food security measures are applied in the warehouse during packaging and loading of snacks.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions- Monitor the project activities; starting from the phase of receiving supplies in the warehouse, to the preparation phase and loading of snacks to schools, as related to food security.
- Coordinate with the Quality control coordinator to ensure all project-related resources and supplies are available on site in a timely fashion, and are procured according to the specific rules and procedures of IOCC and the donor.
- Check orders for accuracy, confirm quality, quantity and specifications and approve receipt of supplies accordingly, and reject and return unacceptable supplies.
- Monitor re-bagging of supplies before dispatch to the schools.
- Prepare and maintain inventories to ensure accuracy, efficiency, compliance, proper supplies handling and minimal damage.
- Maintain a filing system including delivery schedules, laboratory results (when applicable) and waybills.
- Ensure food safety and security norms and standards are applied at all stages of implementation (preparation, distribution and storage).
- Ensure all staff are abiding by proper basic hygiene standards.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; check condition and cleanliness of warehouse and/or storage rooms, pallets, supplies and delivery trucks.
- Submit regular reports on challenges and achievements as agreed with supervisor, with respecting quality and deadlines.
- Assess, discuss and address program challenges with the quality control coordinator.
- Attend and participate in IOCC meetings, when necessary.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.

- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic and English; French is a plus.
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of work experience.
- Certificate in quality management system ISO 9001 is an advantage.
- Previous experience in NGO and humanitarian field is an advantage.
- Experience in warehouse job is preferred
Working Conditions
- Field work.
- Visits to Mkalles office for meetings, trainings and related paper work.
- Preferable that candidate resides in the relevant area.
- Preferable that candidate has a driving license and a car.
